Add a title

55 metres high, the Jesolo Ferris Wheel offers a spectacular view of the city, the golden beach and the Dolomites in the distance. At night it is illuminated with evocative plays of light, making the seafront even more fascinating.

VENICE

Venice is a unique marvel, born from the ingenuity and courage of a people who were able to transform a lagoon into an impressive maritime power. For centuries, the Serenissima Republic of Venice dominated trade between the East and the West, enriching itself with unparalleled art, culture and architecture. Every corner of the city tells a story of merchants, doges and artists, between golden reflections on the water and the charm of a civilisation that has left an indelible mark on time.

St Mark's Square and Basilica

St Mark's Square is the heart of Venice, an elegant expanse of marble surrounded by monumental porticoes and historic cafés. The square is dominated by the majestic St Mark's Basilica, a masterpiece of Byzantine art that shines with its golden mosaics, imposing domes and precious Golden Altarpiece.

In front of the basilica stands the majestic Bell Tower of St Mark, while next to it is the sumptuous Doge's Palace, once the residence of the Doge and the centre of power of the Most Serene Republic of Venice.

Grand Canal

The Grand Canal is the main street of Venice, a waterway about 4 km long that crosses the city with its characteristic ‘S’ shape. Lined with over 170 historic buildings, it tells the story of centuries of Venetian art and power, with Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque buildings. The best way to admire it is on board a vaporetto or a romantic gondola, passing under the famous Rialto Bridge, the oldest and most iconic in the city.

Venice Biennale

One of the most prestigious cultural events at an international level. For the occasion, the Biennale Gardens and the Arsenale are transformed into an avant-garde stage, hosting artists from all over the world. But the city lives art all year round, with its modern art foundations and galleries, such as the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, which preserves works by Picasso, Dalí and Pollock.

Murano and Burano

A few minutes by vaporetto from the centre, Murano and Burano offer an authentic experience of the Venetian lagoon.

Murano is famous throughout the world for its blown glass, an art that dates back to the 13th century. Here you can visit the historic glassworks and the Glass Museum.

Burano, on the other hand, famous for its handmade lace, is an explosion of colour with its brightly coloured houses overlooking the canals.
